Multi-stepped inverters have been generally utilised for bulk-power application. The operation of multilevel inverters is extremely advantageous than that of traditional Bi- level inverter for the reason that of less Harmonic generation, Minimum Electromagnetic overlap and superior Direct Current voltage. However these advanced inverter topologies posses few drawbacks like more component density, difficult PWM modulation methods and issue of voltage imbalance, as the advantages outweigh disadvantages these Multilevel Inverters are found helpful in superior power requirements where there is need for performance beyond the scope of Normal conventional inverter. Here we intend to study and analyze simulation results of three different five level multi-stepped inverter topologies like Cascaded H Bridge Multilevel Inverter(CHB-MLI), CHB-MLI with Level doubling network LDN and T-type Multi- stepped Inverter. This paper is useful to decide which topology work better for desired application as it compares and study various performance characteristics of the above mentioned three Multilevel Inverter topologies.
