Abstrakt:	The article offers update on developments of inductive pad for charging electric vehicles (EV). It describes EV charging infrastructure alternatives including battery swapping, conductive charging and wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. It shows the integration of inductive power transfer system into an EV and offers an overview of the magnetizable concrete technology from building materials company Holcim. Challenges and future opportunities for EV chargers are outlined.
