Relativistic calculations of the Landé gJ-factors, and hyperfine parameters in Ra-223 isotope.

Abstrakt: Accurate calculations of the Landé g J -factors, magnetic dipole, and electric quadrupole-hyperfine-structure constants for the states of the 7s8s, 7s9s, 7s7p, 7p2, 7s8p, 7s9p, 7s6d, 6d2, 6d7p, 7s7d, 7s8d, 7s9d, 7s5f, 7s6f, 7s7f, 7s8f, 7s9f, 7s5g, 7s6g, 7s7g, 7s8g, and 7s9g configurations in Ra-223 have been carried out. These calculations were carried out using the multiconfiguration Dirac–Hartree–Fock (MCDHF) and relativistic configuration interaction methods. Furthermore, additional corrections to the calculated values of the hyperfine constants due to the modified Breit–Wills theory (MBWT) and Bohr–Weisskopf effects (BW) are considered. The 7s7p and 7s6d states are very sensitive to these effects which modify the values of their hyperfine-structure constants significantly. The obtained results are in good agreement with the few numbers of data available in the literature database. These results are useful for the measurement of neutron-rich radium isotope in Collinear Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy at the ISOLDE facility, CERN. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
