Coke is a porous carbonaceous material, and nanopores have an impact on its properties. The determination of nanopore structure of coke by low temperature N2 adsorption method was studied. The degassing time of the experimental coke, the particle size conditions of the sample and the method of calculating the specific surface area and pore size distribution have been optimized. The results show that the suitable degassing time is 720 min and the suitable particle size is 23.0–25.0 mm. N2 stripping method of absorption isotherm is II model, hysteresis loop is H3 type. The BET multi-point method is used to calculate the specific surface area, and the BJH desorption isotherm is more suitable to calculate the pore size distribution. The nanopores of coke are mainly cylindrical pores, and there are a certain amount of slit macropores. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
