The article presents the results of a bibliometric analysis of dissertations submitted for defense in the Russian specialty 07.00.15—History of International Relations and Foreign Policy in 2000–2019. It is noted that earlier the history of international relations did not become the object of bibliometric research. The main topics of dissertations, scientific institutions, and educational organizations in which dissertations on the history of international relations and foreign policy are carried out and defended are identified; the ratio of the number of dissertations for the Russian degree of candidate and doctor of sciences is presented. The results of the analysis can be used by researchers and practitioners in research and expert-analytical activities, as well as reference librarians for information support.
