The article offers description of winter on global scale in the N Hemisphere. It mentions the global average temperature for the period December 2021-February 2022 are among the ten warmest periods on record, and as usual, precipitation anomalies during the quarter varied significantly from place to place, again making it difficult to distinguish clear patterns in the distribution of precipitation on a regional scale. |
