Abstrakt: A thermal model of a lumped-parameter asynchronous traction motor has been proposed that makes it possible to determine quickly and accurately the temperature distribution in individual parts of the motor stator winding. The accuracy of calculations of this model is determined by accurate knowledge of thermal coefficients and, more importantly, the loss distribution. A modified method to determine the temperature of stator winding has been proposed based on a thermal model of an asynchronous traction motor with lumped parameters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
