Abstrakt: Studies have shown about 83% of the elderly in pain are experiencing chronic pain at a given time. Hence it is important to explore some advance, effective treatment techniques in their rehabilitation A 67 year old women came with complaints of radiating low back pain and pain in the medial knee joint line since 10 years. She was conservatively managed with rest and medications all these years with no referral to physiotherapy. She was thoroughly assessed and her pain mechanism was ascertained. Accordingly, electrical and thermal modalities were used and exercises were given for the first three sessions, attaining no relief of symptoms. Hence, she was started on nerve and myofascial dry needling with consent, post which she achieved good relief. It is important that we do not limit the rehabilitation of geriatric population to the traditional forms and should explore the advance techniques. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
