The article presents abstracts of scientific sessions, poster presentations, historical exhibition, and symposia. For the article "Radiation in CT colonography: an overview of effective doses calculated from scan parameters reported in the literature," the purpose is to calculate the effective doses from scan parameters reported in papers dealing with CT colonography (CTC), and to explain the variation observed. For the article "Liver imaging in CT: Principles and rationale of MDCT scanning techniques. Use of high concentration contrast media," the purpose is to optimise iodine concentration in contrast-enhanced multidetector CT of liver tumors. |
