Abstrakt: The article reports that the Kwakwaka'wakw Hereditary Chief and visual artist Beau Dick left his home in Quatsino, a community on Alert Bay on the northern tip of Vancouver Island, and began walking south, accompanied by family members, supporters, and community members. Topics include considered that his destination was the Legislative Assembly in Victoria, five hundred kilometres away.
