Stress is a major problem of the modern society, as it is the cause of many health problems and huge economic losses in companies. It is a growing issue, and it has become an inescapable part of our daily lives. The early detection of stress will decrease the damage it causes and prevent it from becoming chronic. The scientific community is aware of this, and much progress has been made in the last years towards the development of an automatic stress detection system. In this review study, we will examine the recent works on stress detection, looking over the measurements executed along different modalities. only studies involving human participants were taken into account, as no such analysis has been made so far. The performed analysis gives us hints about the future development of appropriate methods for automatic stress recognition systems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
