In this paper, we substantiate the algorithm of discriminatory characteristics forming for two-channel direction finders of localized sources of broadband signal against the background of noise distributed in space with a time-domain signal processing. Based on the proposed mathematical models of signals and noise, we consider a parametric algorithm for tracking a localized source of broadband signal with a modified discriminator and controlled delay lines. The discriminatory characteristics and tracking errors are computed for a two-channel direction finder with spaced antennas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
