The redox reaction Ti(IV) + e– ↔ Ti(III) in the CsCl–CsF (10 wt %)–K2TiF6 melt is studied by cyclic voltammetry. The quasi-reversible region of the process is determined. The diffusion coefficients of the Ti(IV) complexes at various temperatures are calculated. The standard rate constants of charge transfer (ks) for the Ti(IV)/Ti(III) redox couple in this melt are determined. The charge transfer activation energy is calculated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
