Abstrakt: |
Ceramic composites based on a ZrB2 matrix with inclusions of SiC and MoSi2 particles are considered. The volume fraction of both types of inclusions, their size, and their location in space varied. To study the effect of the structure of composites on their compressive strength, a computer model of the unit cell of the corresponding composites was developed using the method of movable cellular automata. As a result of computer simulation, the features of the mechanical behavior of the composites ZrB2-X(SiC)-Y(MoSi2) with different designs of the structural-phase hierarchy were revealed. It is shown that ceramics with a dual composite structure, where inclusions of MoSi2 form mesoscopic granules, have better mechanical characteristics due to the inhibition of microcrack propagation compared to a material with a uniform arrangement of both types of inclusions in the bulk of the composite.
