Abstrakt: Equal-channel angular extrusion (hereafter, ECAE) belongs to severe plastic deformation techniques. It is used for grain refinement up to ultrafine-grained level by varying parameters, such as temperature, strain rate, and friction and loading conditions. The paper presents a mathematical simulation of the ECAE of long 12Kh18N10T and AMts alloy specimens using the Q-Form software to analyze the microstructure evolution after a repeated extrusion cycle.
