Literary geography is an interdisciplinary subfield, which applies geographical approach to literary texts. The article deals with relations between space and literature, brief history and current discourse on literary geography and literary mapping and its application in terms of research of regional literature and in schools. The main aim is to point out interesting possibilities of using literary geography as interpretive approach, mostly because in Slovak context it is almost unknown and seldom used. Therefore, when dealing with literary geography we mostly followed current foreign works. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
