The article considers the possible development of information and innovative technologies for use in distance learning in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The main advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in higher education institutions of Ukraine are identified. The main existing forms and technologies of distance learning and their characteristics are considered and analyzed. Based on the analysis and research, the application of levels of organization of the distance education process is proposed. in higher education institutions of Ukraine in the period of global constraints, as an example of a pandemic.
