As guest editor, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to this issue of IEEE Microwave Magazine. This issue focuses on the 2022 IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) International Microwave Symposium (IMS2022), which will be held in Denver, Colorado, in June. As I sit down to write this column, it is a wintry morning in Boulder, Colorado. With snow falling steadily outside my window, it is enticing to envision the warmer time in late spring or early summer when you will have this issue of the magazine in your hands or on your screen.
