Abstrakt:	The article reports that Román Dam hydraulic system is modern historical structure located at Rambla de la Raja (Jumilla, Murcia) to take advantage of flood waters. Topics include considered that it was expanded and continued to function until the second half of the 20th century, when it fell into disuse and the system was traditionally considered to be from Roman times and supposedly linked to the nearby and ancient settlements of La Alberca and Casa de los Cobos.
