Likewise, the backbone of social work is reflected in this current issue - "Mind-Body Practices as a Proactive Measure for Urban Elementary School Students" by Donna Wang and Derek Tice-Brown; "Interprofessional Experiences From a Different Lens: BSW Students Foster Partnerships to Support Underrepresented College Students" by Tiffany Y. Lane; "Is Alternative School Assignment Followed by Improved Students Grades?" As we move forward to a new year filled with hope and anticipation, I Urban Social Work i invites all of social work to return to its backbone.
