Abstrakt:	Experimental data on the function and the regulation of stress-response gene networks are integrated in the GeneNet database (http://wwwmgs.bionet.nsc.ru/mgs/gnw/genenet/). Section Heat Shock Response contains data on the genes that are expressed in a coordinated manner in response to heat shock. Data of section Thermotolerance testify to the role of heat shock proteins in suppressing apoptosis and in determining thermotolerance. The information on transcription regulation, regulatory regions, and transcription factor binding sites is accumulated in TRRD (http://www.bionet.nsc.ru/trrd/), section Heat Shock-Induced Genes (HS-TRRD).
