Abstrakt: An editorial is presented in which the authors discuss changes made during the COVID-19 pandemic to federal and U.S. state regulations governing methadone take-home doses (THDs) for patients who had been attending daily opioid treatment programs (OTPs). The article examines how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted housing interventions on THD expansion, incarceration, and the significance to public health.
