In this paper, an actual road bump profile is been developed for the passive suspension system by tracing mathematically and MATLAB coding. The profile is generally in the shape of a half sine wave. The passive suspension system in a quarter car is been analysed for the actual road bump with the effective changes of input. The optimum suspension should satisfy the fundamental needs in the vehicle suspension as improved ride comfort, decrease in dynamic travel force, and reduction of relative movement between car and roads. The car dynamics are being studied using a quarter-car model. This initiative aims to consider the economy of vehicles for driving comfort and road maintenance. To study the dynamic response of driving effectiveness and road keeping, the two-degree quarter-car framework model is employed. In the MATLAB/SIMULINKTM setting, a mathematical model of the road profile to a quarter car with sprung and unsprung masses is built and simulated. MATLAB Simulink can solve the equations by evaluating the behaviour of the system and determining the influence on riding comfort and riding maintenance of damping coefficients, rigidity, sprung weight, and speed.
