Abstrakt: The article reports that Management of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) in children has been widely debated as the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the United Kingdom and advocated the use of more restricted fluid regimen in children. It mentions that national interim DKA guidelines published by the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (BSPED) recommended a more liberal approach to fluid replacement therapy for DKA in childhood.
