The analysis of the efficiency of using blast-furnace technology with pulverized coal injection in comparison with the technology of loading anthracite lumps and injection of natural gas has been carried out. It has been shown that the technology of combined loading of anthracite lumps and mono-raw materials in the form of fluxed local cakes with residual carbon and an increased iron content during injection of natural gas can compete in coke consumption with the best results of pulverized coal injection and provide minimal economic and technological risks.
