The article offers information on the adjuvant endocrine therapy in premenopausal women with breast cancer. It further discusses guidelines by National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) for locoregional breast cancer; benefit of anastrozole over tamoxifen when combined with ovarian function suppression (OFS); and extended adjuvant therapy with abemaciclib and poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor. |
