Retarded mandibular growth is the most common reason of Class II malocclusion and functional appliances are the commonly preferred mode of treatment in young patients. In patients with non-compliant nature the treatment of class II malocclusion can be carried out using fixed functional appliances. Among the various fixed functional appliances available ForsusTM is one of the commonly used appliances.
