This paper proposes an innovative theoretical model building upon traditional Knowledge Management (KM) that could help increase both job satisfaction and efficiency of workers. The model introduces two new dimensions to KM: the classification of knowledge according to its origin; and the degree of impact the knowledge has on an individual's efficiency and long-term satisfaction. This allows us to categorize knowledge as inner or outer according to its objective/subjective nature and the nature of the object aimed to be known.
