Topics include women in African media industries face many cultural and institutional hurdles including women seen as homemakers and caregivers; influence of women in Africa's media landscape also brought rise of #MeToo and Time's Up movements due to discrimination and inequality; and women are more financially stable and grip in the film industries. |
