Abstrakt:	The field of recreational therapy has well-established methods of scientific collaboration within the United States yet historically there is a scarcity of International Research Collaborations (IRC). IRC could provide many benefits to the field as well as encourage the pollination of new ideas and philosophies to other continents and cultures.
