Low-threshold field electron emission from graphene nanostructures.

Abstrakt: This paper presents the results of a study of field electron emission from two-dimensional graphene-like nanostructures synthesized by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. It is shown that this technology makes it possible to create efficient large-area field emitters. It is found that such structures exhibit the effect of low-threshold field electron emission. The possibility of obtaining high-current electron beams with currents up to several hundred amperes has been confirmed in pulsed electric fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
