The article presents tributes from various associates of ophthalmologist Jim Mallory on his retirement as editor of the "Journal of Indo-European Studies." Within the field, of course, Jim's influence has been immense and incalculable, both for his own achievements and for his abiding association with the journal. It is noted that Mallory is the only person who is fully trained as an archaeologist and as a linguist who has worked consistently in this field. |
