Abstrakt: |
Aim The aim of study was to assess the impact of COVID-19 emergency period in a sample of undergraduate students of the Terna dental college, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai. Materials and Methods The study was carried out in the form of a questionnaire, comprised of a total of 30 closed-ended questions, which were divided into two sections. The first section was designed to gather demographic information and the second section focused on assessment of sleep quality and insomnia. It was distributed as google forms amongst dental students in Terna dental college. Data was analyzed statistically using SPSS software. Results The results of the study showed that quality of sleep has significantly decreased in after COVID pandemic among undergraduate dental students. Summary and Conclusions Furthermore, awareness should be raised about the importance of proper amount and sleep quality as well as detrimental effects of poor-quality sleep on daily activities, physical and mental well-being, and the overall quality of life.
