An algorithm for numerical simulation of the mechanical impact of moving parts of an electromagnetic drive accompanied by vibration and acoustic noise is developed in the ANSYS Mechanical software package using the finite element method. The results of calculating vibration-noise characteristics are presented for various approaches to describing the design of an electromagnetic drive obtained by numerical simulation. The suitability of the numerical models and the algorithm for calculating vibration-noise characteristics are confirmed experimentally. The proposed algorithm makes it possible to assess the drive noise level at the design stage and ensures its compliance with the established standards. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
