Abstrakt: A method for determining the flow rate of an electrically driven centrifugal pump installation without using a measuring device (flow meter) is presented. The flow-rate parameter is observed under the assumption that the state variables of a submersible electric motor and the catalog characteristics of the installation are known. A mathematical description of the installation of an electrically driven centrifugal pump is given. The model is implemented using the MATLAB/Simulink software package. The results of simulation and verification of the installation model and the algorithm accuracy for monitoring the flow-rate parameter are presented. The observer of technological parameter uses the operation principles of the integral channel of the PID controller and feedback by the observed parameter. The structural diagrams required for the implementation of the observer and illustrations describing the operation algorithm are presented. The activity of the observer is not limited to working with laboratory benches and modeling environments. There is a prospect of implementation on a real object. The advantages of the proposed observation method include simplicity of implementation, the absence of algorithms that require large computing power when reproduced with real equipment, and increased hardware reliability of installation. This will enable solving the problem of a multivalued power characteristic and modification of the operating point. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
