There are no clear cut guidelines on thrombolysis in patients with COVID 19 who develop ischemic stroke as it is unclear whether the risk of intracranial hemorrhage will be greater in these patients who might be now progressing to a hypocoagulable state. During the pandemic of COVID 19, patients with stokes may present late or may not reach the hospital due to lockdown restrictions and hence it may take time to develop a clear picture of the incidence of stroke in these patients.
