Abstrakt: The paper describes the radiosynthesis of a new labelled chemical, [125I]iodoilaprazole. Several critical factors were optimized, namely, substrate concentration (100 µg), amount of oxidizing agent (50 µg, Chloramine-T), pH (pH 6), and reaction time (30 min). Under optimized conditions factors, the radiochemical yield of [125I]iodoilaprazole reached a maximum (98.5%). The biodistribution of [125I]iodoilaprazole in mice was investigated, and its significant absorption was demonstrated in stomach ulcers, reaching approximately 75.2 ± 0.7% ID/g at 30 min after injection. High concentration of [125I]iodoilaprazole in stomach ulcer makes this compound a promising new radiotracer for stomach ulcer imaging. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
