Studies of statistics on the defect of four machine-building enterprises of the military-industrial complex located in the city of Yekaterinburg for three years have shown that the most common cause of defects is hidden flaws of the supplier that are not detected at the manufacturer's entrance control. The analysis of existing approaches to assessing the quality of the supplier is carried out and a hypothesis is put forward about the need of a 'pull' system of supplier control by the manufacturer forming. The implemented project of supplier control by the manufacturer showed the viability of this hypothesis. The assumption is made about the spread of the idea of pull control throughout the value chain of creating a technologically complex product. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
