Henna‐induced Heinz bodies in glucose‐6‐phosphate dehydrogenase‐deficient newborn.

Abstrakt: The article explores A 4-day-old newborn boy was hospitalized in the neonatal unit because of jaundice and poor feeding. The early neonatal period had been uneventful. There had been no abnormal findings on initial physical examination. On re-admission, clinical examination was normal, apart from intense jaundice. A full blood count showed a normal hemoglobin concentration (16.1 g/dL, normal range (NR) for ages 14–20 g/dL).
