Antibiotic resistance is a serious health problem that requires research and development of alternative methods to overcome this problem. The discovery of new alternate antimicrobial agents (nanomaterials) capable of treating resistant isolates is a nessesory. Nanotechnology is expected to open a new path for prohibiting and fighting disease-causing organisms . Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) synthesis through an eco-friendly and simple approach via utilizing secondary metabolic substances of Klebsiella pneumoniae as a reducing agent to convert chloroauric acid (HAuCL4.3H2O) to gold nanoparticles and study their effect as antimicrobial spectrum on biofilm produced E. coli isolates. Also, investigate the effect of gold nanoparticles in combination with antibiotics on gene expression of biofilm gene of E. coli. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
