Abstrakt: The combined liquid illustration of cough syrup is analyzed for the parameters such as ultrasonic velocity (U) with frequency range of 2 MHz, density (ρ), viscosity (η) for commercial as well as herbal cough syrup. Acoustical parameters for instance adiabatic compressibility (βa), intermolecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z), relaxation time (τ) were determined using the normal forms and procedures of data. In understanding the proper intermolecular interactions, density, viscosity, ultrasonic velocity and other parameters high frequency ultra sound interferometer is used which plays an imperative role and FTIR spectra have been used to categorize the functional groups in the liquid specimens of various cough syrups of synthetic and commercial ones. In order to prevent the dental degradation, the pH value is found to measure the acidity/basicity of cough syrups of all categories. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
