The objective of the present study is to determine the tolerance of the maize lines LRL101 and 26A and the hybrid LRL101x26A to the herbicides Adengo 465SC, Laudis OD and Chemnico 25SC, applied once and twice in optimal doses at intervals of 20 days. The experiment was carried, in the experimental field of IZS "Obraztsov Chiflik" - Ruse. Maize is grown on soil type heavily leached chernozem (black earth) under non-irrigated conditions, after its predecessor wheat. The treatment of maize plants with the vegetation herbicides causes mild phytotoxic symptoms, expressed in faint symptoms of chlorosis, on third – fourth leaf of the plants in the parent forms LRL101 and 26A. For the sign total height of the plant were observed higher values of the tested herbicides for the hybrid LRL101x26A and its parent forms LRL101 and 26A compared to the control one. Concerning the betting height of the cob is indicated, there is a tendency of reducing of the height, depending on the type and method of application of herbicides. The coefficient of variation, in line LRL101, is highest in the variant with Adengo 465SC CV=13.6% and lowest CV=3.9% after its’ double application. In paternal line 26A, the highest coefficient of variation CV=14.7% was calculated after inport of the vegetation herbicide Chemnico 25SC (single) and the lowest CV=1.5% after application of Laudis OD (single). The highest coefficient CV=11.8% after application of Laudis OD (twice) and the lowest CV=1.5%, after Adengo 465SC (twice) were calculated. There is a tendency for the formation of a larger leaf area of the cob’s leaf after the application of herbicides - once and twice, in all studied generations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
