When the top of the agar hardened, 15 µl of phage filtrate was spotted on the bacterial lawn, The isolated phage was called Hafnia phage T19 (HP-T19), indicating the host genus and strain name (Adriaenssens & Rodney Brister, 2017). Characterization of novel bacteriophage HP-T19 that targets Hafnia alvei This suggests that the HP-T19 phage should be used for oral phage therapy by incorporating it into fish feed due to its pH tolerance; thus, HP-T19 can survive in the fish gastrointestinal tract.
