Abstrakt: Consequently, they recommend the use of a specific non-default I BWA i - I mem i parameterization for ancient DNA studies because of its superior runtime relative to I BWA i - I aln i . Xu et al. (2021) recently recommended a new parameterization of I BWA-mem i as a superior alternative to the widely-used I BWA-aln i algorithm to map ancient DNA sequencing data.
