| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the importance and opportunities for intermedial approaches to Australian art historiography. The methodological approaches that can be applied to and synthesized with art history methodologies are described. It examines the presentation of art and art history to general audiences in popular magazines such as "Pix" and "Australian Women's Weekly." It cites the possibility for the popular historiographic approaches to expand fields of public reception of art. |
