The changing world is a subject of universal interest of a particular importance to youth. Achieving the goals of a sustainable and healthy planet will primarily benefit the young generation of the Earth. The role of youth leadership in achieving the goal of making cities more sustainable and liveable cannot be considered separately from engineering solutions. Sustainable cities are one of 17 global goals that affect all goals, and many of the solutions for sustainable cities are at the forefront of the search for sustainable solutions. The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of youth leadership in achieving more sustainable cities and improving the lives of people in urban environment. Guidance for understanding solutions to serious problems is not the prerogative of any single discipline. The interdisciplinary nature of the study is determined by the areas of sustainable development, engineering and technical disciplines, and natural sciences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
