Abstrakt: The termination of biochemical processes in plant cells that lead to the destruction of proteins, carbohydrates and other nutrients is facilitated by their dehydration, moisture removal or drying. Temperature control during drying of various plant products is a prerequisite for the destruction of anti-nutritional substances in some of them or, conversely, for the preservation of vitamins. Drying allows preserving the quality of grain for subsequent use in the preparation of flour products and seed material. At normal amount of moisture, the duration of grain storage increases. Drying of grain, fruits or feed briquettes is a fairly energy-consuming way of their harvesting. The use of thermal water as a heat source for drying grain, fruit or feed briquettes and pellets seems to be quite effective in terms of energy saving and reducing physical costs.
