Abstrakt: A technique for calculating speed and acceleration of an injector needle at the time of its seating on the locking cone is proposed. The forces of inertia from mobile masses of the injector, the forces from the spring, the forces from the pressure of fuel and gases are determined. It is shown that contact stresses in the locking cone of the sprayer body of the KamAZ injector are 1.16 times less than those of the YaMZ injector. The calculation of contact stresses in the locking cone of the diesel locomotive 16CHN26/26 injector is performed. It has been found that with a decrease in a needle diameter of the injector sprayer, the voltage in the locking cone decreases, and the pressure of the needle opening start increases. Provided high fuel supply pressure (up to 150 MPa and higher) and intensive needle seating on the saddle of the valve, the application of injectors with electrohydraulic control will allow to ensure less stress in the seating cone than in the studied injectors with hydro-mechanical control.
