The goal of the paper is to apply social indicators in an innovative way in the assessment procedure of the environmental, social and health impact resulting from the construction of a photovoltaic system. It can be seen as a means of protecting human health in the face of almost zero emissions into the atmosphere and the use of an inexhaustible source such as the sun. The implementation of photovoltaic systems is an ideal tool to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda, in particular Goal 7: production of clean and accessible energy. The aim of this work is to know the advantages deriving from the construction of a photovoltaic system in the territory of Butera in social, environmental and health terms. A tool used in this regard is the study on the Environmental Impact Assessment to determine the repercussions during the construction and operation phases of the plant. In order to achieve this goal, a case study was carried out on Ambiens Srl, located in Valguarnera Caropepe (EN) and founded in 2006. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
