The article explores whether partisan gerrymandering had any constraints in the U.S. Constitution by citing the case Rucho v. Common Cause. Topics covered include the case law involving partisan gerrymandering and the prior decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court, the history of adopting the Elections Clause and the Framers' expectation of judicial review, and the history of the drafting of Section Two of the Fourteenth Amendment, which addresses the right to vote. |
